We are a leading Tea Exporter located in Kelaniya, looking for a dedicated, and committed professional to lead our financial operations and grow with the organization.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership: Engage directly with the CFO to develop and execute financial strategies
Stakeholder Management: Effectively and efficiently communicate financial insights with both internal and external stakeholders.
Treasury Management: Manage and optimize the use of bank funding to meet cash flow needs of the company.
Financial Reporting: Oversee the financial reporting process.
Operational Finance: Oversee all aspects of accounting and taxation. Ensure strict compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
Budgeting & Forecasting: Lead the budgeting and forecasting processes
Risk & Compliance: Develop and implement risk management policies and procedures, ensuring compliance and mitigation of financial risks.
Audit Oversight: Lead the annual financial audit process
Process Optimization: Identify key opportunities for process improvements in financial operations and implement effective, modern solutions.
Team Leadership: Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing finance and accounting team to enhance capabilities and drive professional growth.
Qualifications & Experience
Professional Credentials: Fully qualified Chartered Accountant (CA).
Academic Background: An MBA from a reputed institution will be considered an added qualification.
Experience: 10+ years of post-qualification experience, with a minimum of 5 years in a similar senior capacity.
Industry Exposure: Prior experience in the Tea export industry or any export sector is highly advantageous.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in working with modern financial software and ERP systems.
