The company is seeking a Boatyard Electrician, preferably a Sri Lankan, to work in N. Manadhoo.
The role involves electrical installation, maintenance, and repair.
Salary is negotiable and will be paid in MVR.
Key Responsibilities:
Installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical items (grinder, compressor, drill etc)
Experience with AC and DC electrical systems and single and three phase wiring.
Troubleshooting and fault-finding of electrical equipment, vehicles, and diesel engines.
Servicing of company vehicles (oil and filter changing, washing etc)
Knowledge of marine lighting, navigation systems, pumps, and control circuits is an added advantage.
Use of electrical testing equipment such as multimeters, insulation testers, and clamp meters.
Qualifications & Experience:
Electrical trade certification or equivalent qualification.
1-2 years of experience in a similar field.
Should have the required qualifications and licenses.
Experience with vessel commissioning and refit projects is an advantage.
